Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived to a musical family 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is the daughter and cousin of the singer Dionne. In Newark Whitney started singing in the church choir when she was a young child. at the age of 15, she accompanied her mother the background vocals for Chaka's hit Im Every Woman from 1978. The singer went on to sing back vocals to Lou Rawls Jermaine Jackson and her own mother. She also was briefly models on the front cover of Seventeen magazine in 1981. Her first gig was as a vocalist in the band Material. the funk group from New York, Material and it was the quality of her vocal work with them that attracted the attention of major record companies, such as Arista with whom she signed in 1983, and with whom she stayed for the rest of her career. The album she released as her debut Whitney Houston was released in 1985 and became the biggest-selling album of a debut artist. The album All My Love was released in 1985 and became a number one smash. The album itself sold three million copies in its debut year in the US and then went on to sell 25 million worldwide winning it the very first one of six Grammies. The album Whitney, released in 1987, featuring popular singles Where Do Broken Hearts go? and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, continued her earlier success. It is The Bodyguard (1996) that established her as one of music's best sellers. While the film wasn't highly appreciated and neither did her performance, the music of her Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You was able to reach the number one spot on both the albums and singles charts across the US for months. It sold 44,000,000 copies. The daughter of her mother Bobbi is born the month of March of 1993, the year she got married to Bobby Brown. At this point when her well-documented substance abuse began. By 1996 she was an everyday user.

Dana Bash, also known by the name Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American journalist and anchorwoman who serves as a political correspondent for CNN. She has also produced some of the network's weekend shows such for instance Evans & Novak' Late Edition and Inside Politics.' She was also a reporter for other famous channels, such as NBC and CBS. Bash is a recipient of several awards and honours. Elle magazine once listed Bash on the Women in Washington Power List.
